Clean means nothing left behind
01Rinses completely clean
Pure lifts road film and grime, then rinses away with no gloss agents or fillers. What you see after the rinse is your actual paint.
02Thick, slick suds
Dense foam in a cannon and silky lubrication in a bucket help your mitt glide, so you put fewer swirls in while you wash.
03Built for hard water
Water softeners in the formula keep the foam thick and help the rinse come off cleaner, even with hard tap water.
The right wash for the job
Pure is a straight cleaner. Here is when to reach for it.
Before you polish
Bare, clean paint, so you can see every defect you are correcting.
Before a coating
Nothing left on the paint to get between your coating and the clear coat.
On coated cars
pH-neutral, so it cleans without stripping your protection.
Weekly washes
Safe on PPF, vinyl wraps and matte finishes.
How to use
Foam cannon or bucket, both work.
-

Foam cannon: add 2–3 oz to the bottle, top with water, shake and foam the whole car.
-

Bucket: mix 1 oz per 2 gallons of water. Wash top to bottom in straight lines with light pressure.
-

Rinse thoroughly, panel by panel in warm weather, before the suds dry.
-

Dry with a plush drying towel or a blower.
FAQs
Quick answers from the Ethos team.
What is the difference between Pure and Ceramic Shampoo?
Pure is a straight cleaner with nothing added, ideal before claying, polishing or coating. Ceramic Shampoo leaves a layer of protection behind as you wash.
Is it safe on ceramic coatings, PPF and wraps?
Yes. Pure is pH-neutral and safe on coatings, PPF, vinyl wraps and matte finishes.
Can I use it in a foam cannon?
Yes. It makes thick, slick foam in a foam cannon or foam gun, and rich suds in a bucket.
How much should I use?
2–3 oz in a foam cannon, or 1 oz per 2 gallons of water in a bucket.
Will it strip my wax or sealant?
No. It cleans without stripping. It also won’t hide a worn-out layer the way a wash-and-wax can, so you see the real condition of your paint.
What does it smell like?
Blood orange martini: a clean, fresh scent that makes wash day a little better.
What if I do not love it?
Every Ethos product is backed by a 30-day money-back guarantee.
