Bypass Function Explained

The integrated bypass valve allows you to easily divert water around the deionizer when spot-free water is not required—helping to extend the life of your resin and reduce refill frequency. Just twist two knobs to switch between DI and tap flow. Ideal for rinsing off driveways, wheels, or doing a pre-wash without wasting resin.

Water Output Estimates

Estimates assume:

  • Tap water with 250 PPM total dissolved solids (TDS)

  • MAX Flow rate of 3 gallons per minute (GPM)

  • Cars (5 gallons per rinse): ~125 rinses per fill

  • RVs (30 gallons per rinse): ~20 rinses per fill

Resin lifespan will vary depending on your actual local TDS and usage. Use the included TDS meter to monitor when the resin needs to be replaced (typically when readings exceed 10–20 PPM for spot-free performance).

How It Works

  1. Connect to Hose or Pressure Washer
    Attaches via quick-connect fittings to your standard garden hose or pressure washer setup.

  2. Water Flows Through Resin
    Positively and negatively charged ions (calcium, magnesium, iron, etc.) are removed through mixed-bed ion exchange.
