- Plush microfiber wash mitt: glides across the paint to help prevent swirls
- MAX 1400GSM drying towel: dries a sedan in about two passes, no wringing
This just might be my new favorite car shampoo. It has a LOT of lubricating suds. It’s doesn’t take much to get a bunch of suds from this product also. I would definitely recommend it.

A safer wash, start to finish
01Suds that clean and protect the paint
Pure builds thick, slippery suds that lift dirt and road film, then rinses completely clean. No glossing additives get left behind, so it is safe on wax, sealants and coatings.
02Keep grit off your mitt
The 5 gallon bucket and grit guard trap the dirt you rinse off at the bottom of the bucket. Your mitt goes back into clean water, not the grit you just took off the car.
03Most swirls start at the drying stage
A cheap towel fills up halfway down a panel and starts dragging grit. The MAX drying towel has two slick outer faces around an absorbent core, so it keeps soaking up water while it glides.

How to use
Fill, wash, rinse, dry.
-

Drop the grit guard in the bucket, add Pure at 1 oz per 2 gallons of water and fill with a strong stream for suds.
-

Rinse the car, then wash from the top down with the mitt, one panel at a time, out of direct sun.
-

Rinse the mitt often, rubbing it on the grit guard to release dirt before reloading with suds.
-

Rinse the car, then lay the MAX towel flat and pull it across each panel to dry.
FAQs
Quick answers from the Ethos team.
What comes in the kit?
A 16oz bottle of Pure Car Shampoo, a 5 gallon wash bucket with grit guard, a plush microfiber car wash mitt and a MAX 1400GSM drying towel.
How much shampoo do I use?
1 oz per 2 gallons of water in the bucket, or 2 to 3 oz in a foam cannon. A 16oz bottle covers many washes.
Is it safe on ceramic coatings and wax?
Yes. Pure is pH neutral and safe on coatings, PPF, wraps and matte finishes. It rinses clean without stripping your protection.
Can I use Pure in a foam cannon?
Yes. It makes thick foam in a foam cannon, or you can use it in the bucket for a traditional hand wash.
Why does the grit guard matter?
It traps the dirt you rinse off your mitt at the bottom of the bucket, so you do not pick it back up and rub it into the paint.
How do I care for the mitt and towel?
Machine wash with a microfiber detergent, skip the fabric softener and tumble dry on low or hang to dry.
What if I do not love it?
