FAQs

Quick answers from the Ethos team.

Do I need a machine polisher?

Yes. Perfect Polish is built for machine use: a DA polisher (preferred) or a rotary.

Which pad should I use?

Orange Foam for light swirls and refining after compound. One Step Microfiber for a one-step on moderate swirls. Black Foam to jewel.

Does it fill or hide swirls?

No. It is filler-free, so the gloss you see is truly corrected paint, not a glaze that washes off.

Can I use it before a coating?

Yes. It is coating-safe. Wipe each panel with Detox first to remove polishing oils.

When do I need Pure Cut instead?

For heavy swirls, oxidation, RIDS or sanding marks. Cut with Pure Cut, then finish with Perfect Polish.

What can't it fix?

Scratches you can catch with a fingernail are usually through the clear coat. Not for matte or satin paint, vinyl wrap or PPF.
