An Ethos Car Care Product Comparison

This is a comparison of Ethos coating options using their published product information and application directions. It is not an independent laboratory test or a report of seven years of observed use.

Know Which Product You Are Comparing

RESIST is a spray coating and topper. Graphene Matrix V2.0 and Graphene MAX are bottle coatings with different application requirements. Their prices, stated protection intervals, and preparation instructions are not interchangeable.

The Decision Changes the Work You Take On

You want a protected finish without buying the wrong kit or spending a weekend fixing an application mistake. Start with the surface, your experience, and the care routine you can follow. A longer protection claim is useful only when the product and application suit the job.

A Spray and an Advanced Bottle Coating Are Different Choices

RESIST fits a spray, spread, and buff routine on clean paint. Graphene MAX is intended for advanced applications; Ethos explicitly says it requires more experience than Graphene Matrix V2.0. Choose the process you can carry out properly, rather than assuming a larger year count makes every purchase better.

Compare Cost per Application, Not Bottles per Year

Reapplying a spray does not necessarily mean buying a new bottle every time. Compare the quantity used on your vehicle, the number of applications available, and the maintenance required. Include preparation products and towels. A professional service may also include washing, decontamination, or correction that a coating bottle cannot replace.

Keep Manufacturer Claims Separate From Observed Results

Ethos publishes different protection claims for RESIST, Graphene Matrix V2.0, and Graphene MAX. Those are product-specific manufacturer claims, conditional on correct application and maintenance. Actual service life varies by product, preparation, use, exposure, and maintenance.

Preparation Comes Before Protection

Clean the surface and inspect it for contamination or defects. Follow the chosen coating's preparation directions. Correction work, if needed, comes before coating. For RESIST, use a cool, clean surface out of direct sunlight, spread a small amount evenly, and buff remaining residue with a second fresh microfiber.

Do Not Borrow a Spray's Cure Instructions for a Bottle Coating

Graphene MAX directions require at least 48 hours dry before water exposure and describe continuing cure afterward. Temperature and humidity affect the application window. Read the full directions before opening the bottle. RESIST's spray routine does not make those MAX instructions optional.

Compare the Exact Ethos Coating

ProductCurrent entry optionJob and application
RESIST$34.9516oz spray: apply on clean paint and buff residue
Graphene Matrix V2.0$79.9930ml bottle: follow preparation and cure directions
Graphene MAX$99.0030ml bottle: advanced application and at least 48 hours dry cure

Choose the Option for the Car in Front of You

A spray can be a practical maintenance choice when you want to work area by area after cleaning. A bottle coating can fit a more involved protection job when you can complete its preparation and cure requirements. Neither route removes the need to care for the finish afterward.

Check the Product and Purchase Terms Before Ordering

Compare the selected size, contents, and current price on the product page. The written return policy requires eligible products to be unused, unopened, and in their original packaging within 30 days; sale and clearance items are excluded. It is not an after-use performance trial. See the shipping policy for processing and dispatch conditions.
