Questions before you choose

Is a spray-on ceramic a real coating?

Graphene is just a buzz word on its own, and plenty of sprays are glorified detail sprays. What matters is the bond: RESIST pairs reduced graphene oxide with an SiO2 ceramic and Insta-Bond sets the layer on the clear coat on contact, so a spray lays a real coating without a cure window. A bottle coating goes on thicker and asks for prep and cure time. We do not ask you to trust a label: beading is the only test that matters, so watch the hood after the first rain. Spray or bottle coating for a car parked outside?

Outside means sun, rain and bird droppings every day. If you refused the dealer's $1,200 ceramic package on principle, a bottle coating or a kit is the base coat you lay yourself, and the spray tops it up after washes. Already running a pro coating you trust? RESIST layers over it as a topper, so you keep the base and add the beading.

Why the three-bottle pack and not one bottle?

The first coat uses most of one bottle on a sedan. The other two carry the top-up coats, and the three-bottle pack costs less than two single bottles on the product page. Both prices on this page are live. One bottle is the price of one wash at the pro detailer, and the downside is one Saturday.
