What Would Convince a Skeptical Coating Buyer?
An ingredient list tells you what is in a product. A documented comparison can show what happened under a specific test. You need the conditions as well as the result.
That is why the measured property matters. Slickness is not the same as maximum durability, and neither is the same as scratch-proof paint.
Project Farm compared eight coatings through escalating chemical rounds and measured the remaining surface slickness with a weighted sponge.

Eight Coatings, With the Measurements on Camera
The products in the test ranged from $13 to $110 at the time of testing. Those historical prices are not current RESIST offer prices.
At 15:15–16:02, RESIST’s final drag measured 2.3 lb, the lowest in the group. Gtechniq measured 2.5 lb.
At 8:46–8:54 and 10:28–10:33, RESIST shared the top beading rating after strip wash and iron remover with Griot’s, Gyeon, and Gtechniq.
The harsher rounds separated the products. RESIST’s beading weakened after bug-and-tar remover and wheel cleaner, and was used up after degreaser.
The overall verdict at 16:04–16:52 went to Gyeon, with Gtechniq close second. Griot’s was the most chemically durable spray in that comparison.
The practical reason to consider RESIST: a documented slickness result paired with a spray-and-buff application.
The test does not translate directly into a fixed number of months on your car or prove that every competing coating performs the same way.

Two Limits That Matter at the Car
Chemical durability was not RESIST’s winning category. Griot’s retained more beading through the harsher chemicals among the sprays. Gyeon and Gtechniq led the overall verdict. RESIST’s lowest drag result should not be expanded into those other titles.
The finish still needs a careful application. The product directions call for minimal product and full removal of residue. Use a cool, clean surface out of direct sun. Spread one manageable area and buff with a second fresh towel.
And to be clear about what it is not: RESIST is a protector, not a polisher. It will not remove scratches that are already in the paint.
A separate limit:
No protective spray makes paint immune to scratches, mineral deposits, or impacts. Continue washing and drying with clean tools.

Choose RESIST when you have clean, maintained paint and want a protective finishing step at home, or a topper for an existing coating.
Choose correction first for defects you want removed. Consider a bottled coating for a longer installation, or film when stone-chip protection is the priority.
